Introducing our newest field trip package... Solve a pre-historic mystery 170 feet underground. This exciting new program allows your students to practice their paleontology skills to solve the mystery of the missing pre-historic creature – a creature whose remains were actually discovered in DeSoto Caverns decades ago. Your students will exercise their classroom skills (math/language arts/science) to discover the location of the skeletal remains of the creature. They will participate in a "dig" to unearth its remains, analyze the evidence, formulate a theory, and draw conclusions in determining the identity of the creature found at the bottom of DeSoto Caverns.

"Bones: DeSoto Caverns" is a special two-hour, "touchable" educational experience designed for students in grades K-8. Students are encouraged to wear "after school" clothes.

AVAILABILITY
For our special hands-on programs, our group size is very important. The minimum group size is 20 and maximum group size is 30 per departure. Choose from two departures daily: 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM starting December 1 through February 28.
